  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 large egg acts as a binder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and egg in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  2. Step 2: Shape the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick, and place on a plate or baking sheet.
  3. Step 3: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Step 4: Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature has reached 165°F. Transfer cooked patties to a serving platter and serve warm.

Notes

These patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days. They are also suitable for freezing.
