- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Step 3: Stir in the shredded cheddar and pepper jack cheeses until evenly distributed.
- Step 4: Add the diced jalapenos, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Step 5: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Step 6: In a small bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with a drizzle of olive oil or melted butter, then sprinkle over the dip.
- Step 7: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Step 8: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make it gluten-free by substituting panko breadcrumbs with crushed gluten-free crackers, or for a vegan option, use plant-based cream cheese and sour cream.
