- Step 1: Cook the Pasta: Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your choice of pasta and cook according to the package instructions until it reaches an al dente texture.
- Step 2: Drain and Rinse: Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander. To cool it down and stop the cooking process, rinse the pasta under cold running water. Set the drained pasta aside.
- Step 3: Prepare the Vegetables: While the pasta is cooling, wash and chop the cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, red onion, and black olives.
- Step 4: Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, red onion, black olives, feta cheese, and fresh parsley. Gently toss the ingredients together.
- Step 5: Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Step 6: Toss the Salad: Pour the dressing over the pasta salad mixture and gently toss everything together. Ensure that all the ingredients are coated with the dressing.
