- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your muffin tin by lining it with paper liners or giving it a light coat of cooking spray.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, beat softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Step 4: Add molasses and eggs, mixing until well combined.
- Step 5: Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk, mixing just until combined.
- Step 6: Fill muffin cups about two-thirds full.
- Step 7: Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Step 8: Allow muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Step 9: In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth to prepare the glaze.
- Step 10: Drizzle the glaze over the cooled muffins.
