  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your muffin tin by lining it with paper liners or giving it a light coat of cooking spray.
  2. Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Step 3: In a large bowl, beat softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
