- Step 1: Start by taking the cream cheese out of the refrigerator and allow it to soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Blend these together until smooth and well combined.
- Step 2: Add shredded cheddar cheese, minced garlic, and finely chopped jalapeños to the mixture. Adjust the number of jalapeños based on your heat preference.
- Step 3: Add lime juice and cumin to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Step 4: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh chopped cilantro.
- Step 5: Chill your dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.
