Method
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until well combined.
- Step 3: Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
- Step 4: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Step 5: Fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Step 6: In a medium bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over the blondie batter, then swirl with a knife.
- Step 7: Sprinkle the additional semi-sweet chocolate chips on top of the batter.
- Step 8: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Step 9: Allow to cool completely in the pan, then lift out using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.
Notes
Store your blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze them for longer storage.
