- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cherry soda, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in the chopped cherries.
