- Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Step 2: Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and allow it to warm up for a couple of minutes.
- Step 3: Carefully place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin side down. Pour the prepared brown sugar mixture over the top of the salmon.
- Step 4: Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes, or until it is caramelized.
- Step 5: Carefully flip the salmon over to cook the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Step 6: Once cooked, remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to avoid overcooking.
