  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine optional

  • Sharp knife for slicing
  • Cutting Board
  • Whisk or wooden spoon for stirring

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Step 2: In a small mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Step 3: Rub the marinade all over the beef tenderloin roast and let it sit for 15-30 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Position the marinated roast on a rack in a roasting pan.
  5. Step 5: Roast for approximately 25 to 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.

Notes

Consider adding different herbs or spices to the marinade for variety. Always allow the meat to rest after cooking for juiciness.
